Sex and Porn Structure
When engaged in the actof real time sexualactivity with a real female partner,
the malehuman spsyche reacts to at least three broad dimensionsof
stimulus:
additional fantasies. fundamental significance of theact.anddirect sensory input.
A. Additional fantasies
Additional fantasies are the conscious mental activities of the male engaged
in thesexual act, which allow for a higher enjoyment of
theact, higher state of arousal,or indeed the 'potency' ofthe 'manhood'
itself. These fantasies are used when the current sexual
activity is for some reasonor other not sufficient
in itselftoarouse the male, and an additional, parallel stimulusis maintained
bya mental effort for example the male looking at the face ofthe partner, but seeing
a differentface,or expression, or act concerningthe face,or perhaps imagining a whollyalternative
situation altogether.
B. Fundamental significance of the act
Unlike theadditional fantasies,
the significance of performed sexualactivity is the
impact of that activity itself upon the mind
andemotionsof the male, the impactof the meaning
of what takes place. 'Bondage' provides many clear examples - forinstance
when the intensityof the sexual act,of the arousal, isachieved bythe tying of let's say
the handsofthe passive participant. When thehands are tiedthisdoes not addany
stimulus to the body ofthe active participator, indeed it does notadd any recognizable
sensory pleasure to the passive one neither - it is the significance
ofthe fact that the hands are tied, of the restrictionsonto the capacity of
movement and reaction that influences the cognitive and emotional processes of
the participants, that inflates the arousal. The position of thefemale, the sounds, the facial expressions,
the tools used, the dialogues,
all these are generators of significance which helps maintain arousal. Below
the layer of fantasies is the layer of the significance of what is being done, and it is below
this invisible envelope, that is thenaked body of the partner.
A naked 'woman' is rarely 'naked' - the nude bodyis clothed in layers ofmeanings.
C. Directsensory input If the symbolic structure of the actgratifies the male toa
sufficient extent, additional fantasies are made redundant,and the
experience is a mix of theperceived significance of what is being done,and ofthedirect sensory
input - the stimulus which the body receiveswhile engaged in theact. In
theory there could be somewhere in the world a couple in which oneor both of the
participants, who withoutbeing severely mentally impaired or drunk into prelinguistic
modes, experience sexas direct input alone, withoutany weighty mental interference.

death, and 'plus100' being the complete sadistic experience of cruel murder, 'zero'

with 'just human nature' as ananswer, remain: why do
these impulses existatall? Are theyinherent? Are they inherited? Are theycontagious?
Are they 'good' or 'evil'? Do theyallow to maintain some sortof sanity? Or are theyforms of insanity themselves?
